Wow! I had an amazing time coaching young mogul skiers up in Whistler, Canada for Momentum Ski Camps. It gave me a whole new perspective on my skiing, and befriending dozens of new kids kept me smiling the entire week. By the end of the session, I didn't want to leave. This was my fourth summer skiing at Blackcomb Glacier and I have never seen so many mogul skiers! It was awesome. Kids with knee patches and IDOne skis dominated the slopes, and I felt honored to coach a handful of them. Every skier I worked with was having fun and eager to learn. It was refreshing to see kids having the time of their lives in the moguls, whether for their first time or their one hundredth. I will definitely be back next summer, and for more than just one week! Thank you to Momentum Camps for having me.
For now, it's off to Park City, Utah for a three week water ramping and fitness block. I have some ambitious goals as far as increasing my degree of difficulty with my jumps, but I'm ready to work hard and get after it, especially after my eye-opening week as a coach. Keep checking here, my Facebook page, and my Instagram page for more updates. ;)
