That's a wrap for Whistler

Just arrived home from our two week camp in Whistler, Canada. This marked my first on-snow training camp for the 2017-2018 Olympic ski season! Although it rained a lot in the beginning of the camp, the sun eventually came out and we were able to get some great training in.

This camp was all about resetting and getting back to basics. I worked mainly on technical skiing in the moguls and touched on some simple jumping. The snow was slushy and soft, which made it easy to work on technique and posture. One of the highlights of the camp was definitely getting to ski on my brand new red, white and blue IDOne USA skis! Since it's Olympic year, all of the US Freestyle IDOne USA athletes will be skiing on this model. I couldn't be more stoked to be apart of this team. :)

Now for some time off at home with the family rafting and celebrating the Fourth! After that, I plan to head to Steamboat, CO then Park City, UT for water ramping. I'll be maintaining my current tricks, but I'm mostly looking forward to working on some new ones! Keep an eye out for another update and some video on how that goes.

Happy Fourth of July!
